The crowning event of the company’s 25-year festivities: the inauguration of the latest expansion of its headquarters, the first Minergie-P industrial building in Switzerland.

Zünd presents G3 at Fachpack 2009

Zünd has launched G3, the new digital cutter generation, and is now presenting it for the first time at Fachpack Nürnberg. G3 distinguishes itself with exceptional versatility, robust construction, and complete modularity.  Since Drupa 2008, when it was first released, more than 250 G3 customers have come to rely on the productivity and profitability of this versatile cutting system.

Earlier this year, the company received further industry-wide recognition by winning a second consecutive edp award in the category „Best wide-format finishing device“.

With G3, the new generation of digital cutting systems, Zünd presented a thoroughly convincing entry for this year’s EDP Award and, for the second time, was honored with the top prize for wide-format finishing.

FESPA will attempt to create the world’s largest ever digitally printed jigsaw puzzle at FESPA World Expo Asia-Pacific (BITEC, Bangkok, 28th – 30th November 2008), in collaboration with the Thailand Exhibition and Convention Bureau (TCEB) and digital wide format specialists Fujifilm Sericol, Industrial Cutting Services Co. Ltd (ICS) with Zünd and Halifax Vogel, all of which are sponsoring the jigsaw initiative.

Zünd will be launching G3, its newest generation of digital cutting/routing systems. Exceptional versatility and modularity are the prime distinguishing characteristics of these new machines. Following successful beta-testing in Switzerland, the first G3 cutters are already operating in Germany, Italy, Denmark, and the Netherlands to rave reviews.

This past fall, Zünd Systemtechnik AG, based in the Rhine Valley of Switzerland, announced its decision to withdraw from the digital printer market and take full advantage of the opportunities arising from the synergies of digital printing and finishing. Zünd has since focused its resources on further developing and optimizing multifunctional digital cutting and routing technologies.
