Another Zünd Innovation – the L3 Leather Cutter

Delivering again on its pledge to be „Your first choice in digital cutting“, Zünd successfully launched the L3 digital leather cutter at the recent SIMAC in Bologna, Italy.

L3 digital cutter – productivity by design
The new Zünd L3 digital leather cutter meets the most rigorous demands for productivity, user-friendly operation and exceptional quality. What makes this cutter series so exciting is the unique combination of intelligent control technology, a highly advanced drive system and finely-tuned digital cutting workflows. In keeping with Zünd’s modular design concept, the L3 tool palette has been expanded to include a number of high-performance tools developed especially for leather-cutting and related applications. Our punch tools, for example, are capable of punching up to 8 holes per second in leather as well as rubber and textile materials. Typical of Swiss quality and precision, our oscillating tools make quick work of even the thickest, toughest leather. A well thought-out non-stop production workflow contributes to the L3’s exceptional productivity. Loading and unloading occur at the same time without interrupting production. Green LED displays signal whenever production in one of the cutting areas is finished and new material can be loaded. The highly stable cutting surface is made of aluminum and tilted at a 10° angle for easier loading/unloading.

Flexibility defined
As is the case with all other Zünd cutter lines, the L3 is the most flexible, adaptable and easily upgradeable system available on the market. Define which functions your leather cutter needs to fulfill, and select up to seven freely combinable tools for a variety of tasks.
